Candidates should be honest about any simulator mistakes they’ve encountered, demonstrating transparency and integrity. They need to strike a balance between not being too passive or overly aggressive in their problem-solving approach, and showcasing a measured and composed demeanor. Precision is crucial, as precision ensures that candidates can accurately identify and address any issues that may arise during simulations. Lastly, candidates should embody a team player mentality, as effective collaboration and communication are vital in aviation operations, contributing to safer and more successful flights. These qualities collectively form a well-rounded candidate for a pilot position. There will be questions; why would you like to join Air Astana, how would you manage to live in Kazakhstan, and basic HR questions.

It was like as described here. Did my assessment in Finland as non-type rated. In my opinion, the interview was the hardest part. Captain had an A4 paper with all my mistakes. It was my job to recognize them.
