pilot-assessment.com is operated by Pilot-Assessment, Helsinki, Finland. Contact: feedback@pilot-assessment.com.
2. What we collect
When you register and use our pilot aptitude practice tests, we collect:
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed)
- Test data: your scores, response times, and answers within each test
- Technical data: IP address (last octet anonymized), browser, device, screen size, language preference
- Consent records: when and what you agreed to
We do not collect payment data, health data, or biometric data.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide the service: deliver tests, save your progress, show your results
- To improve our tests: analyze how questions perform, remove unclear ones, validate scoring
- To keep the platform secure: detect abuse, prevent fraud
- To contact you: send important service notices (e.g., password reset)
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Contract (Art. 6.1.b) — to provide the tests you signed up for
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) — security and test improvement
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a) — for optional communications (if you opt in)
5. How long we keep your data
- Account and results: until you delete your account, or 2 years of inactivity
- Server logs: 12 months
- Consent records: 5 years (legal requirement)
- Backups: 30 days rolling
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share only with:
- Hosting provider (in Finland / EU) — to run the website
- Email provider — to send account-related emails
Both have Data Processing Agreements with us.
We do not currently transfer data outside the EU.
7. Your rights
You can:
- Access your data
- Correct it
- Delete it
- Export it
- Withdraw consent
